Rental period and price1. The minimum rental period is 24 hours. A partial day is charged as a full day: for example, if you pick up the car on Monday at 10:00 and return it on Tuesday at 15:00, you pay for 2 days.
2. The daily price depends on the rental period (1–2, 3–7, 8–14 or 15–31 days) and is shown in the
price list and on each car page.
3. If you want to extend the rental, inform the VIRA manager in advance.
Deposit4. A deposit is paid when you receive the car. Its amount depends on the model and is shown in the
price list (from 300 to 500 $).
5. The deposit is refunded 30 days after the car is returned. If information about fines or toll road charges (Salik, toll) for the rental period is received, these amounts and the administrative costs of paying them are deducted from the deposit.
Mileage and fuel6. The mileage limit is 250 km per day. Extra mileage is charged separately — 0.5 $ per km.
7. The car must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up. If there is less fuel, the difference is paid on the spot at VIRA rates. If there is more, the difference is not refunded.
8. Fuel, parking, fines and toll roads (Salik) are paid by the renter.
9. If the car is so dirty on return that it cannot be inspected, it is washed at the renter’s expense.
Insurance10. Standard insurance does not cover damage to the wheels, underbody, windscreen or interior.
11. In case of an insured event, the renter must immediately inform the VIRA manager and obtain a police accident report (unless otherwise agreed with the manager). If these conditions are not met, the insurance is void and the renter bears full responsibility.
Driver requirements and documents12. The driver must be at least 21 years old with at least 3 years of driving experience. VIRA may refuse the rental if the age or experience requirements are not met.
13. You need your national driving licence together with an international driving permit (IDP) and your passport. Driving in the UAE without an IDP is not allowed and is subject to a fine.
14. The phone number with the correct country code provided at booking must be reachable the day before pick-up and throughout the rental. Complaints about the service are not considered if the renter could not be reached by phone or messenger (WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber).
Restrictions15. The car may be driven only on paved public roads. Driving on dirt roads and off-road is prohibited.
16. Leaving the UAE in a rental car is not possible.
17. Only small pets may be transported, in a special carrier.
